Marks 22 Consecutive Quarterly Increases
TULSA, Okla. – The board of directors for the general partner of Magellan Midstream Partners, L.P. (NYSE: MMP) has increased the partnership's quarterly cash distribution to 59 cents per unit for the period July 1 through Sept. 30, 2006, representing its twenty-second consecutive quarterly distribution increase.
The third-quarter distribution is 11.1% higher than the third-quarter 2005 distribution of 53.125 cents per unit and represents a 2.2% increase over the second-quarter 2006 distribution of 57.75 cents.
The new distribution, which equates to $2.36 per unit on an annualized basis, will be paid Nov. 14, 2006 to unitholders of record at the close of business on Nov. 7, 2006.
